I guess you could say I’ve been involved in-kitchen remodel projects quite often in my life. At this very minute my husband is finishing the drywall in our living room, and will soon be painting it. While it’s great to see the finished product, the process can be very messy.

When you are doing a project that requires screws to be put into drywall, you should use anchors. Anchors reinforce the screw to make a stronger hold, allowing them to hold more weight. Some screws are included with a plastic anchor that is inserted into the wall before the screws, while other have anchors built right into the screw, in the form of a strong metal spiral.
Do not buy furniture that is upholstered with strong patterns. Purchasing geometric shape or floral print items will automatically determine your home decor. Purchase furniture in solid colors and use accessories to add interest. Pattern can be introduced through pillows, throws and other items.
Attaching two PVC pipes is a simple process that requires PVC primer and PVC cement. It is important that you use these specific products as your pipe will not hold with any other glues or cements (since PVC cement melts the PVC slightly to create a more firm bind) and it may be prone to leaking if you avoid a coat of PVC primer. Additionally, there should be no water on the surfaces of the pipes.
We have a home which is over 100 years old and updating it has been an ongoing process over the past five years. We have a new dining room, two new bathrooms and half of a new kitchen. Recently, my husband installed four new windows and put new siding on half of the house. I can’t wait for the whole thing to be done!
